Briar Meads Taps CushWake for Lisle Assignment

Cushman & Wakefield has been selected to represent Briar Meads Capital as landlord leasing agent for the Westwood, a two-building Lisle, IL complex within the I-88 East West Tech Corridor.

New York-based Briar Meads recently acquired and recapitalized the 300,000-square-foot office property, which currently has 157,426 square feet available for lease.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of Dan Svachula, Michael Simpson, Adam Showalter and Allyson Yates will be responsible for leasing the property, while NAI Hifman will provide management services. Briar Meads is already in the process of updating the Westwood, which was built in 1991 and 1997 and formerly known as Westwood of Lisle.

“We plan to significantly enhance the Westwood with thoughtfully-designed, tenant-focused amenity reinventions, and attract tenants both small and large with a strong value proposition for their office needs,” said Briar Meads’ Seth Berkowitz. Delivery of the repositioned property is expected later this year.
