Breathe Deep: Alo Yoga Coming to Flatiron

Alo Yoga leased the entire four-story retail and office building in Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood for its New York flagship store. All told, the yoga center took down 17,000 square feet.

“Flatiron is becoming increasingly popular with performance and fashion-forward brands, making 164 Fifth Ave. the ideal location for Alo Yoga to open its first New York store,” said Melissa Gliatta, chief operating officer of Thor Equities, which owns the building.

The Los Angeles-based women’s yoga clothing brand will fill the 17,600-square-feet with a multi-level retail and showroom space, as well as a yoga studio, café and juice bar.
