CBRE has added Stephen Somer and Brooke Silver to the firm’s Capital Markets team in Los Angeles. Somer, who served as managing director of Eastdil Secured’s Los Angeles office for 22 years, joins CBRE as a vice chair, specializing in office and studio investment sales transactions. Silver joins as an SVP on Somer’s team, also coming to CBRE from Eastdil.

Somer will be based in CBRE’s West Los Angeles office and will join CBRE’s National Office Partners team. During his 22-year tenure with Eastdil, he was instrumental in numerous high-profile office and studio investment sales transactions in Los Angeles. “Stephen is highly respected and admired throughout the industry, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team,” said Andy Ratner, executive managing director, CBRE, West Los Angeles. “His addition significantly enhances our Capital Markets presence and our ability to advise investment clients

“Brooke is also highly regarded, and we are pleased to have her join CBRE alongside Stephen to establish an industry-leading investment sales team that will leverage CBRE’s full platform to move markets,” Ratner added.

Somer and Silver will work closely with CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance team to capitalize on the synergies between these teams.
