Brazos Residential Brings NC Tally to $170M with Multifam Buys in Fayetteville, Rocky Mount

Dallas, TX-based Brazos Residential, LLC, has acquired two multifamily communities in NC that bring its statewide investment to $170 million. Since its formation at the beginning of 2022, Brazos has purchased nine properties located in NC:

  • Arbors at North Hills, Raleigh
  • Bradford Park, Greenville
  • Briarwood Apartments, Fayetteville
  • The Colony Square Apartments, Rocky Mount
  • Cobblestone Apartments, Fayetteville
  • Heather Ridge Apartments, Fayetteville
  • Jefferies Cove, Rocky Mount
  • North Crossing Apartments, Fayetteville
  • Wilson Woods, Wilson

The firm’s latest acquisitions are Briarwood Apartments in Fayetteville and Jefferies Cove Apartments in Rocky Mount.

Briarwood Apartments is a 273-unit complex that was built in 1970. The property is close to Cape Fear Medical Center and marks the firm’s fourth acquisition in Fayetteville, NC. Brazos now holds over 700 units in Fayetteville.

Jefferies Cove Apartments is a 152-unit community built in 1987. Brazos purchased the asset from the original developer and was drawn to the opportunity due to its proximity to an existing portfolio property that has performed exceptionally well, according to the company.

Brazos Residential holds over 2,500 multifamily units across the Sun Belt and controls over $307 million in multifamily real estate investments.
