Brazil’s Consulate General Inks 10.5-Year Office Lease

The Federative Republic of Brazil has signed a 10.5-year lease for 16,477 square feet at Decron Partners’ 6222 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles’ Miracle Mile neighborhood. The office will be occupied by Brazil’s Consulate General in Los Angeles. Kidder Mathews’ Brian M. Dunne and Don Hudson represented Brazil.

Brazil’s lease is notable for both its term and size. According to Kidder Mathews Research, the 10.5-year term is more than double LA County’s average office lease since 2022 (4.25 years), and more than three times its average size (5,070 square feet).

“As the world’s fifth-largest country, Brazil’s consulate is a highly sought-after tenant,” said Dunne. “I have had the pleasure of working with this client since 1994, and I continue to be impressed with the professionalism, patience and good nature of everyone I’ve encountered.”
