Braun Wraps Up 53 West Redevelopment

Braun Enterprises has completed 53 West, a mixed-use redevelopment project in Uptown Houston adjacent to The Galleria that will consist of office space, restaurants, a food hall, retail, and services.

Situated on more than 4 acres, 53 West includes 168,000 square feet of office space and 32,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Redevelopment began in 2019.

As part of the redevelopment, one of two office towers connected by the ground-floor retail was converted to Urban Office—a flexible office space concept by Braun Enterprises that provides private office spaces with shared, premium amenities. Businesses can rent furnished or unfurnished space ranging from 50 to 2,000 square feet. An 11-vendor food hall opened at 53 West Houston earlier this year as part of the repositioning.

Two additional retail concepts for the ground floor are currently in the works with plans to open in 2024.
