Braun Enterprises Plans Retail Center Renovation

Braun Enterprises acquired a 70,000-square-foot retail center at 8141 Long Point from Long Point Partners. The new owner rebranded the real estate Spring Branch Village, and is planning to renovate the northwest Houston project to include a mix of restaurants, fitness, salon and others. The Houston-headquartered Braun Enterprises will launch the renovation in spring 2019, with completion planned for the end of the year.

The investment represents Braun’s third in Spring Branch; it also owns the Brand Craft Beer and Foodery (7710 Long Point) and a shopping center at 8700 Long Point. Spring Branch Village is more than 90% occupied, with King Dollar as its largest tenant.

Braun’s Zach Wolf told the Houston Chronicle that Spring Branch Village is similar to its redevelopment of Ella Plaza in Garden Oaks in 2013, but Spring Branch has stronger demographics.
