Brandon Polakoff Elevated to Head of NYC Investment Sales at Avison Young

Avison Young has appointed Brandon Polakoff as head of investment sales for the firm’s New York City market. He will lead a team of more than 30 professionals to support clients with sales of multifamily, office, development and retail assets in the New York City area and beyond. His primary focus will be spearheading the generation of new investment sales business for Avison Young’s Capital Markets platform.

“Brandon is a top producer in both our company and our industry; we are excited to elevate him into this leadership role to continue shaping and executing our investment sales strategy in New York City,” said Rory Murphy, Avison Young principal and New York City market leader.

Polakoff joined Avison Young in 2018, has been involved in sales valued at approximately $5 billion and has consistently achieved top producer for the firm’s Tri-state Investment Sales group. He will continue to collaborate with NYC-based James Nelson, principal and head of U.S. Investment Sales (USIS), Erik Edeen, principal and senior director, USIS and the USIS team.
