Branch Properties Secures $25M Construction Loan for Retail Center in Atlanta

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged $25 million in construction financing on behalf of Branch Properties for development of Summerhill Station, a new 87,083-square-foot retail center on Georgia Avenue in Atlanta, GA.

Richard Henry, Taylor Crowder, Mike Ryan and Brian Linnihan of Cushman & Wakefield secured the financing through Ameris Bank.

“Branch has already received tremendous tenant demand at Summerhill Station, which will provide a critical grocery-anchored retail center in the heart of Summerhill,” said Henry.

Summerhill Station will be comprised of four buildings anchored by a 50,012-square-foot Publix. Construction is expected to be complete in early 2023.

Atlanta’s Summerhill neighborhood is undergoing a transformation due to Georgia State University’s expansion, which includes a repurposing of the former Turner Field into the university’s football stadium, a new baseball stadium and basketball arena and the addition of more than 1,000 new residential units.
