Branch Properties has broken ground on Publix Super Markets-anchored shopping center Merganser Commons at Dogwood Estates in Milton, FL. Milton is located within the greater Pensacola Metropolitan Area.

Branch acquired the 11-acre land parcel in March in partnership with retail development company Merganser Enterprises. Publix will occupy a 46,811-square-foot store at the center, which will also include two additional buildings totaling 20,110 square feet of retail space. Merganser Commons is the sixth property currently in Branch’s development pipeline.

“Since announcing the site acquisition for Merganser Commons at Dogwood Estate in March, we are on track to deliver the development to the community next year,” said Merg Hoffman, principal at Merganser Enterprises. “With Branch as our partners, we are dedicated to elevating the existing retail corridor in Milton and providing surrounding residents with essential shopping and service-oriented needs right in their backyards.”
