Bozzuto Development to Build 222-Unit MXU Project in Southwest D.C.

The Westminister Presbyterian Church in Southwest D.C. has partnered with Bozzuto Development to build a 90-foot-tall, mixed-use building with 222 multifamily units and 18,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space for the church.

The church was built in 1965 and is nearby the Waterfront Metro station. Plans for the project call for the entrance to the church being located separately from the senior and market-rate portions of the property along I Street. The below-ground parking will include 60 vehicular spaces that would be shared by residents and churchgoers.

The development team also includes Dantes Partners and KGD Architecture.
