Boy Scouts of Greater St. Louis to Sell HQ, Looking for New Location
The St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America has selected Cushman & Wakefield to lead the Boys Scouts’ site selection efforts for a new location and market its Central West End regional offices. For its new location, Cushman & Wakefield will work with the St. Louis Area Council to evaluate sites and facilities in St. Louis City and County that are available for sale or potential donation to the nonprofit.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Hanrahan, Matthew Stephens and Jack Gentile are working with the Boy Scouts Greater St. Louis Area Council to find an approximately 25,000-square-foot space. The St. Louis location has been located at the Central West End property at 4568 West Pine Boulevard since the early 1960s.
“Modern facilities will help us meet the current and future needs of our 25,000 Missouri and Illinois scouts with additional technology, access, and meeting space as we work to further expand Scouting’s positive impact to more young people in the region,” said Joe Sadewasser, CEO of the Greater St. Louis Area Council.
