Bowa Construction Doubles Chicago HQ with Downtown Move

Bowa Construction, a minority-owned and operated general contracting and construction management firm based in Chicago, has relocated its South Side headquarters to the West Loop.

The Chicago-based general contractor now occupies 14,000 square feet in a building it owns at 222 S. Jefferson St. after previously occupying 7,000 square feet at 7050 S. Stony Island Ave., reported the Chicago Business Journal. The company will continue using its South Side office as a field operation center.

Bowa, which is working on local projects such as the Obama Athletic Center and the University of Chicago Cancer Center, celebrated its 15th anniversary this year. Bowa also recently completed work on Chicago O’Hare International Airport’s Terminal 1 project which added an additional 130,000 square feet and two aircraft parking positions to the existing cargo area.
