Bow West Capital Revitalizes Historic DTLA Building for Cannabis-Related Companies

Santa Monica-based Bow West Capital is redeveloping “Green Street,” a seven-story building at 718 South Hill St. in DTLA as a creative office space dedicated exclusively to the fast-growing cannabis industry. The company plans to reopen the office in November following a redesign of the building, which was constructed in 1913 and served as a center for the jewelry manufacturing industry for over a century.

Sean Beddoe, founder and President of Bow West Capital, says the 67,000-square-foot building will include several floors of communal or co-working space, private office suites, a rooftop amenity deck, an art gallery, retail space and a 5,000-square-foot restaurant.

Occupants already planned to join the mix include Denver-based Vicente Sederberg LLC, a national law firm that bills itself “The Marijuana Law Firm” and is leasing a floor. More than a dozen cannabis-focused early-stage and start-up ventures have signed up for space in the co-working area.
