Boutique Gym Makes NYC Debut with Chelsea Lease

NKF represented landlord Extell Development in a 10-year lease by boutique gym Solidcore in its first New York City location. Specializing in high-intensity, low-impact workouts, Solidcore will take 2,105 square feet on the ground floor of 155 W. 23d St. in Chelsea.

“Solidcore is a perfect tenant for the space,” said NKF’s Harrison Abramowitz. “West 23rd Street is a great landing point in Manhattan, as its seen the start of many successful fitness brands on this stretch. This prime location has been a proven winner by fitness tenants, and ownership looks forward to seeing Solidcore thrive here.”

Jason Siano and Sean Young of Sabre Real Estate Group represented the tenant, which was drawn to the neighborhood’s strong co-tenants.

Founded in Washington, DC, Solidcore has 30-plus studios on the East Coast and in the Midwest and Texas. Its first location in the region opened last June in Roslyn, NY.
