Boutique Co-op Property Launches Sales on Upper East Side

Sales have officially launched at 1228 Madison Ave., a boutique-scale luxury residential co-op building developed by CBSK Ironstate, a partnership of CB Developers, SK Development and Ironstate. Initial availability will include four- to six-plus-bedroom full-floor and duplex homes starting at $7,950,000.

1228 Madison includes 14 private full-floor homes, plus a duplex penthouse, with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Kelly Behun handling the design. “The building is a refreshing addition with an intimate scale perfectly suited for locals and families seeking a home in the heart of the Upper East Side,” said SK Development’s Scott Shnay.

He added, “Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Kelly Behun Studio have brought to life residences that are rooted in the great history of our city, but possess a sensibility that looks towards its future.”

The first on-site model residence is slated to debut in the first quarter of 2021, with occupancy following in Q3.
