Boutique Bryant Park Offices Sign Two Lease Renewals

Jack Resnick & Sons secured lease renewals totaling 20,000 square feet with two tenants at 8 W. 40th St., its boutique 22-story office building in Midtown Manhattan’s Bryant Park neighborhood. In the larger of the two transactions, Middlegate Securities will extend its 13,334-square-foot lease commitment for 10 additional years while re-stacking its two-floor space.

Technology company Merlyn Mind is also extending its lease, retaining its 6,667-square-foot space for an additional two years.

“Middlegate Securities and Merlyn Mind’s decisions to extend at 8 West are a testament to our relationships with both companies, the quality of the building, and its unmatched location on the doorstep of New York’s iconic Bryant Park,” said Jonathan Resnick, president of Jack Resnick & Sons.

Jack Resnick & Sons was represented in-house in both transactions by executive managing director Brett Greenberg and managing director Fran Delgorio. Benjamin Blumenthal and Ralph Chattah of Noah & Co. represented Middlegate Securities. Evan Algier and Nick Masi of Cushman & Wakefield represented Merlyn Mind.
