Bothell Research Center Sells for $18M

Biomed Realty, operating under the entity name BMR 217th Place LLC, sold the 217th Place Research Center in Bothell, WA. The buyer, listed as Jump Holdings LLC, paid $18.2 million for the 67,779-square-foot research center.

According to public records, Biomed has owned the property, which was built in 1987, since 2006. The asset at 1522 217th Place SE is home to Juno Therapeutics, which leased the space in early 2015 to research and manufacture its immunotherapy cancer treatment.

Formerly the headquarters of Oncogenex, the two-story building is in Bothell’s Canyon Park life science cluster.
