Boston’s Serenity Apartments Sold for $123M

Oxford Properties Group acquired Serenity, a 195-unit luxury apartment property in Boston, from Longwood Group for $123.25 million. NKF’s Michael Byrne, Thomas Greeley, Casey Griffin, Devlin Man and Andrew Herald oversaw the transaction. NKF’s David Douvadjian arranged financing on behalf of the buyer.

“As our first residential acquisition in Boston, this deal speaks to our commitment to significantly grow our residential portfolio globally, which currently stands at over 10,000 units,” said Oxford Properties Group’s Jeff Turkanis.

Completed in 2017, the community at 101 S. Huntington Ave. boasts condominium-quality finishes, including contemporary kitchens, sleek bathrooms, walk-in closets and oversized windows. The property is near Olmsted Park, and features vibrant on-site amenities highlighted by a two-story, dual-entrance lobby, spacious lounge, elevated pool deck, private courtyard, state-of-the-art fitness center and direct-access parking garage.
