Boston Pickle Club to Open First Outpost 

Boston Pickle Club has signed a 20,000-square-foot lease at 91 Sprague Street in Boston with Griffith Properties. This marks the club’s debut location, set to open in Q1 2024.  

Founded by racquet pros Johan Durant and Stephen Mitchell with tech entrepreneur Steven Hauck, Boston Pickle Club offers access and coaching from professionals. “Boston Pickle Club’s approach will meet the quantified public and private demand to play pickleball on the highest quality indoor courts,” stated Hauck. “Our model is membership-driven, targeting the very inclusive sport of pickleball and offering the communal feeling of being a part of a club.”  

Newmark arranged the deal with a team led by JR McDonald, Eric Jeremiah representing the landlord, and Joe Pearce for the tenant.
