Boston Pickle Club Opens First Facility in Hyde Park
Boston Pickle Club, an indoor pickleball facility, has opened in Hyde Park at 91 Sprague St. The 20,000-square-foot facility has seven indoor courts with advanced lighting and court surfaces.
Co-founded by platform tennis professionals Johan du Randt and Stephen Mitchell, along with entrepreneur Steven Hauck, the facility opened at the end of February. Sponsored by Skechers and Joola, Boston Pickle Club receives proceeds from merchandise sales donated to Good Sports, a Massachusetts nonprofit promoting equitable access to youth sports.
Boston Pickle Club offers two membership tiers for individuals and families, advanced court booking, league play, championships, private lessons, junior classes, clinics, league play, round robins, tournaments, camps, and more. “Pickleball is a sport that brings people together and fosters a sense of community. With the Boston Pickle Club, we introduce a new category: a membership-based club with diverse programming for all levels and ages and the best pros in the region,” said Hauck.
