Bosch Rexroth Invests $20M in New 50K-SF Lehigh Valley Logistics Center

Bosch Rexroth, a German-based global hydraulics manufacturer, recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new $20 million facility at Lehigh Valley Industrial Park in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The new 50,000-square-foot warehouse will feature automated storage and retrieval systems, increasing the facility’s storage capacity by 50%. Bosch Rexroth, which has been operating in the region for nearly 60 years, currently employs about 300 people at their current location, where it designs and manufactures advanced hydraulic components and systems for industrial machinery. The expansion of its Lehigh Valley hydraulics manufacturing campus is designed to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

The Bosch Rexroth expansion was constructed by J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. and designed by Spillman Farmer Architects. “This investment is a reflection of our confidence in the team here in industrial hydraulics in North America, in the local team here in Bethlehem, in the Lehigh Valley, and it shows that we see an opportunity in North America,” said Erwin Wieckowski, President and CEO of Bosch Rexroth North and Central America.
