A massive residential development in Boise marked another milestone with a groundbreaking ceremony for the site’s new recreation and amenity center. Boise Hunter Homes, a luxury homebuilder and developer, has broken ground on the new Dry Creek Ranch Community Center.

Dry Creek Ranch is set to be Idaho’s largest master-planned community, covering 1,400 acres with entitlements to eventually construct 1,815 homes. Designed by DAHLIN, an architecture, planning and design firm, the nearly 9,000 square feet facility will feature a gym and exercise class areas, a glass-enclosed indoor playroom visible from the workout area, a commercial-grade kitchen, a style lounge, and multiple group gathering spaces.

The community center will be built on a five-acre site and include a large pool connected to a children’s pool, surrounded by outdoor grills, gas firepits, and a sunbathing area.
