Boeing Leases Two Buildings at WA Industrial Complex
Boeing has submitted tenant improvement building permit applications for approximately 845,000 square feet of space in the Frederickson ONE industrial complex. The move signals that the global aerospace company is planning to expand in the Frederickson area, even after Boeing recently divested a significant portion of its property, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal.
In 2021, Boeing sold 310 acres of land to Panattoni Development. The firm, along with partner Crow Holdings, has started developing FRED310 on the site after securing $252.3 million in funding from PCCP, LLC.
The buildings are owned by Chicago-based Logistics Property Company, and Nelson Worldwide is the architect for building improvements. Per the outlet, the development is nearly fully leased, with Amazon occupying one of the buildings. This is Boeing’s second large lease in the Puget Sound area, with the company also recently leasing space in Kent’s Logisticenter at Pacific Gateway.
