BMC Obtains $53M Refi for Denver Office Building
Walker & Dunlop has arranged a $53 million construction loan to refinance Milwaukee Place, a Class A office and retail development planned at 242 Milwaukee St. in Denver, Colorado.
W&D Capital Markets led by Justin Nelson, Eric Norris, PJ Feichtmeier and Jared Diedrich arranged the floating-rate, interest-only loan for BMC Investments. FirstBank provided the financing under the leadership of Michael Kosakowski.
Milwaukee Place will contain approximately 94,000 rentable square feet, including 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 84,000 square feet of office space across floors two through seven. The building will also feature outdoor patio seating, a sixth-floor terrace and a high-end lobby.
Construction is expected to be completed in Q1 2027. The property will be located in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, a premier central office market offering employees and executives convenient access to nearby downtown.
