Blue Cross/Blue Shield Teams with Sanitas to Open Multiple Med Centers

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas joined forces with Sanitas USA to open 10 advanced primary care medical centers throughout the Dallas and Houston areas. The centers will deliver primary and urgent care services, as well as lab and diagnostic imaging, care coordination and wellness and disease management programs in one location. They will be open for appointments beginning Jan. 1, 2020.

Construction will launch in 2019 on the centers, which will be in Bellaire, Katy, Northwest Houston, Southeast Houston, Spring and West Houston in Harris County; and in Irving, Mesquite and Richardson in Dallas County. The facilities will service Blue Cross and Blue Shield card holders, as well as self-pay patients and seniors with traditional Medicare coverage. Some locations will be open 365 days a year, and every location will have extended weekday and weekend hours.
