Blossom Holding Readies First U.S. Project with Houston Boutique Hotel

Hangzhou, China-based Blossom Holding Group is gearing up for the launch of its first U.S. project, The Blossom Hotel –Houston. Currently undergoing completion in the Texas Medical Center, the 16-story, 267-key boutique lodging property is scheduled to open in April 2021.

“We designed the hotel to mirror the union of both Houston’s unique character and our goal to embrace our international guests,” said Christen Larsen, director of sales and marketing at The Blossom Houston.

Located at 7118 Bertner Ave., the project is reportedly the closest luxury hotel to NRG Stadium. It will feature about 400,000 square feet of amenities, ranging from three chef-focused restaurants to long-term storage.

“Our internationally-focused concept truly reflects the city’s culture, and we look forward to bringing an innovative hotel to an area of Houston that has not yet seen luxury travel like this before,” Larsen said. Blossom Holding Group began exploring markets outside China in 2014.
