Blink Fitness Comes to Central Ave in East Orange, NJ
Blink Fitness opened its 67th location on Feb. 27, 2018, in a 16,400-square-foot space at 600 Central Ave. in East Orange, NJ.
“We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the neighborhood,” said Jason Croft, club manager. To help begin its relationship with the neighborhood, Blink offered 50 one-year memberships, worth over $10,000, to FAMILYConnections, an organization offering innovative counseling, skills-building, training and prevention.
Paramount Assets has purchased the 50,000-square-foot property in 2016 with plans to adapt the asset from retail/office to retail/multifamily use. It hope to start construction on 30 apartments on the second floor in 2019. The two-story building is set on a busy commercial street, a minute walk from a New Jersey Transit rail station.
