Blackstone Serious About Oakland
The Blackstone Group has major plans for Oakland. The investment firm wants to build a $150-million project on 3093 Broadway, which is an attempt to revitalize the street.
The Oakland project will bring both housing and retail to the area. The site, a former car dealership, will have 24,000 square feet of retail and more than 400 apartments.
Construction on the project could begin later this year.
