Bixby Expands Georgia Footprint with Industrial in Atlanta, Savannah

California-based investor Bixby Land Company has acquired two new industrial properties for an undisclosed sum in the Atlanta and Savannah metro areas, totaling 431,074 square feet. The deals bring Bixby’s total footprint in the region to more than one million square feet.

In one transaction, Bixby acquired 3435 Jonesboro Rd. SE in Atlanta. “This is a great pocket near Hartsfield-Jackson airport that has seen very little Class A development in this size range,” said Bixby VP Matt Ela.

Like 3435 Jonesboro Rd., 200 Nordic Dr. in Pooler, GA was built in 2019. It’s located within 10 miles of the Port of Savannah. “Close-in properties like 200 Nordic Drive are well positioned to capitalize on the continued Port of Savannah expansion,” said Ela.

CBRE’s Chris Riley, Frank Fallon and Trey Barry represented the seller for 200 Nordic Dr. JLL’s Dennis Mitchell and Matt Wirth advised the seller for 3435 Jonesboro Rd. SE.
