Bishops Cuts/Color Entering Texas, by Way of Houston

A Portland, OR hair stylist is entering the Lone Star State by planting its flag in two Houston locations. Bishops Cut/Color, which got its start in 2001, leased 1,298 square feet at 3100 Fannin in the Midtown District, and 1,400 square feet at 2522 Yale at Aurora, in the Heights.

James Namken and Brett Levinson with Weitzman handled negotiations as tenant representatives. They worked in cooperation with Anne Mendez of Fransite, which is representing Bishops as master broker for the concept as it expands nationwide. Zach Wolf of Braun Enterprises advised the landlord in both transactions.

Weitzman indicated that the Houston franchisee is planning a third location as soon as the other two are up and running. While no sites in Austin or North Texas have been selected, Weitzman and FranSite are working with franchisees in those markets.
