Biotech Startup Leases Permanent Space in Tarrytown

JLL arranged a new lease for digital chemical manufacturing platform DigiChem Corporation at 500 White Plains Rd. in Tarrytown, NY, a 155,987-square-foot Class A office and laboratory building owned by Northpath Investments and reportedly the only turnkey lab facility available in the Westchester market.

The latest startup to emerge from BioInc@NYMC, the biotechnology incubator on the Valhalla campus of New York Medical College, DigiChem signed a five-year lease for 3,035 square feet of lab space on the fifth floor. It’s the second BioInc@NYMC startup to open its first permanent location at 500 White Plains Rd., following Sapience Therapeutics, which, leased 8,352 square feet at the property in 2022.

A JLL team led by EVP Ian Ceppos and SVP John Cahill serves as the exclusive leasing agent for 500 White Plains, located within the Tarrytown Corporate Center in Westchester County. DigiChem was represented by Michael Litsky of Rakow Commercial Realty Group.
