Biotech Firm Signs First New Lease at Former Bristol Myers Squibb Campus

Colliers International represented owner Trawler Capital Management in a long-term lease at 777 Scudders Mill Rd. in Plainsboro, NJ. Biotechnology firm Genmab A/S will relocate its U.S. headquarters office to 90,700 square feet at 777 Scudders Mill, in the first new lease signed at the campus since the relocation of Bristol Myers Squibb.

A Colliers team led by Charlie Hatfield, New Jersey life sciences practice leader, and associate director Brett Incollingo, represented Trawler along with JLL’s Tom Romano. Genmab was represented by JLL’s Dan Spero, Craig Eisenhardt and Jason Benson.

The 125-acre Plainsboro campus was built for Bristol-Myers Squibb, which has since relocated to a new 650,000-square-foot complex in nearby Lawrenceville, NJ. Trawler retained Colliers in 2018 to market two of the three Plainsboro buildings for lease.

“We continue to drive the campus’ evolution from single-tenant headquarters to a multi-tenant, multinational center of innovation,” said Trawler’s Brendan Driscoll.
