Bioscience firm PBS Biotech has assumed a 63,789-square-foot, long-term sublease at a industrial facility located at 4721 Calle Carga in Camarillo, CA.

NKF’s John DeGrinis, Patrick DuRoss, Jeff Abraham, and Greg Tippin represented both sublessor Microsemi Communications and sublessee PBS Biotech.

The recently-renovated building’s infrastructure includes four ground-level loading doors with a 22’ clear height, open bullpen areas, multiple labs and a large break room.

This is the NKF team’s fifth transaction with a bioscience company during the past 12 months. Ventura County 101 corridor properties are strategically located between Northern Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and the area’s skilled labor pool and universities support continued growth of the industry sector in the region.

According to DuRoss, “This sublease is yet another indicator of the rising trend of biotech expansions throughout the Southern California market, particularly along the 101 corridor in North Los Angeles, in recent years.”
