
Binswanger Marketing Industrial Facility for Covidien
Philadelphia-based Binswanger is bringing to market the 309,454-square-foot, former Covidien/Medtronic manufacturing and warehouse facility in Commerce, TX. The asset sits on roughly 47 acres and is held by Covidien LP.
Constructed in 1974 and renovated in 2003, the modern, single-story facility is located in a Foreign Trade Zone, roughly an hour northeast of Dallas. The rail-served site, which previously was used for plastic injection molding, has heavy utilities to support a manufacturing operation, and is 100% air-conditioned.
Users being targeted include:
- oil and gas producers and equipment manufacturers,
- manufacturers of textiles, paper, petroleum/coal products, plastics/rubber, primary metal, computer/electronic products
- electrical equipment/alliance/components
- motor vehicle body/trailer manufacturers
The facility could also be used for mining, construction, wholesale trade and transportation and warehousing operations.
