Billionaire Lists Estate for $85M
The 47-year old founder and former chief executive of Legendary Entertainment, Thomas Tull, and his wife Alba, are listing their 33-plus-acre estate in Thousand Oaks for $85 million. With producer credits on well-known hits like The Dark Knight and Jurassic World, the billionaire is reportedly relocating his family and holding company to Pittsburgh.
Inspired by 18th century French romantic architecture, the European-style natural stone facade has four cascading pools, is three stories tall, and has more than 50,000 square feet of living space. Along with the 12 bedrooms and 32 bathrooms, there is storage for 2,500 bottles in the wine cellar and there is a museum for collectibles that spans nearly 2,000 square feet.
While there are estates on the westside of Los Angeles for more than $80 million, this one is unique in that it features parcels of land along with the structures. Built on four separate parcels of land, with seven different structures and a one-quarter-acre lake, the property features an organic farm, glass greenhouse and ranch house.
