BHW Adds 2nd Humble Rental Community

BHW Capital broke ground on a 288-unit apartment complex next to a golf course in Humble. Clayton at Tour 18 will be the company’s second rental community adjacent to the Tour 18 golf course (photo). The other is The Park at Tour 18, a 241-unit complex BHW finished in 2020. The Houston Business Journal reports the company sold the project to the Civitas Capital Group in 2021.

BHW purchased the 10.5-acre site from a private seller in July.

Clayton at Tour 18 will average 913 square feet, with home office spaces starting around $1,135. The 25 ground-floor units will have private yards. Community amenities will include a gym with an indoor turfed zone, resort-style pool, work pods, outdoor biergarten, multiple outdoor kitchens, a putting green and a pet park with a washing station.

Completion is targeted for 2027.

BHW has engaged Mucasey & Associates as the architect. Blazer Building Southwest is the general contractor. Southside Bank provided construction financing.
