BH Properties has appointed Janel Jensen as Managing Director, Retail Properties. Based out of the firm’s Seattle office, Jensen will lead the strategic leasing, merchandising, and positioning efforts for BH Properties’ growing portfolio of retail and mixed-use assets across the Pacific Northwest and West Coast.

With more than a decade of experience shaping vibrant retail environments in both urban cores and suburban mixed-use developments, Jensen brings a depth of market knowledge and creative deal-making expertise to her new role. She will play a key leadership role in maximizing the potential of recent high-profile acquisitions, including Pacific Place in Seattle, Anchorage Square in San Francisco, and Hazard Center in San Diego.

Prior to joining BH Properties, Jensen served as Director and Market Leader at Unico Properties. Jensen will initially focus on enhancing tenant mix and elevating the consumer experience at Pacific Place, the 335,000-square-foot retail and entertainment destination in downtown Seattle, and Anchorage Square, a 2.6-acre mixed-use property in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
