BGO, Seyon Partner on Industrial Portfolio in I-495 West Submarket
Global real estate investment manager BGO and Boston-based Seyon have acquired a two-building, 134,413-square-foot industrial portfolio in Marlborough, MA, within the Boston metropolitan area. The acquisition continues to expand an existing relationship between BGO and Seyon focused on industrial investments in the Northeast.
Terms were not disclosed. The portfolio comprises 261 Cedar Hill St. and 753 Forest St., both single-story shallow-bay industrial buildings located in the I-495 West submarket. The properties feature functional layouts suited to a range of industrial, technology and advanced-manufacturing users. Together, the properties provide 17 dock doors, four drive-in doors and 353 parking spaces.
BGO and Seyon plan to undertake targeted capital improvements across the portfolio and actively manage leasing and tenant engagement. Seyon Management will provide day-to-day property management and construction management services for the joint venture, building on its existing management relationship with BGO.
“The Marlborough portfolio is a strong addition to our Greater Boston industrial footprint and reflects our continued focus on flexible, well-located assets that can serve a broad range of users,” said Kevin Yen, principal, BGO.
