BGO Nabs JLL’s Ryan Severino as Chief Economist and Head of Research

BentallGreenOak (BGO), a global real estate investment management advisor and provider of real estate services, has appointed Ryan Severino as chief economist and head of research for the firm’s U.S. business.

In his new role, Severino will be responsible for global and regional economic research, analysis, and commentary, as well as providing support to BGO’s investment and portfolio management teams through property market forecasting.

With 25 years of experience in economics, real estate, and investment research and analysis, Severino joins BGO from JLL, where he served as chief economist and managed the economics team. Severino is an adjunct professor of finance and economics at Columbia University and New York University and has published original research in journals such as the Wharton Real Estate Review and The Real Estate Finance Journal.
