Newmark Group Begins Trading on Nasdaq

Newmark Group, Inc. is now trading on Nasdaq. Company executives visited the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square in celebration of its initial public offering (IPO), where to honor the occasion, Chairman Howard W. Lutnick, and CEO Barry M. Gosin, rang the opening bell Friday morning. (Connect Media produced a video that played during the ringing event for Newmark Group.)

Leading up to the launch of trading, BGC Partners, Inc. updated the terms of the IPO of its Class A common stock for Newmark Group. The IPO price is now currently expected to be between $14.00 and $15.00 per share.

Newmark Group has been approved to list its Class A common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “NMRK.” Newmark Group is offering 20 million shares of its Class A common stock in the IPO. The underwriters will also have a 30-day option to purchase up to three million additional Class A shares.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is acting as a book-runner for the offering.
