Betty Castro Joins Ripco as Managing Partner for Manhattan and Brooklyn

Ripco Real Estate has hired Betty Castro as managing partner for the retail services firm’s Manhattan and Brooklyn markets. The 25-year brokerage veteran will work closely with Ripco’s partners to plan and develop programs that strengthen the company.

“At Ripco, we continue to actively recruit top talent and with Betty’s well-respected knowledge of Manhattan and the outer boroughs, we are confident she’ll be a great asset to the team,” said COO Mark Kaplan.

Before joining Ripco, Castro was the managing director of leasing in the Manhattan market and prior to that ran the Brooklyn and Queens markets for Cushman & Wakefield since 2015. While there, she centered in on growing market share and adding service lines.
