Berkshire Buys 206-Unit Cook Street in Oregon

Berkshire Group has acquired the 206-unit Cook Street Apartments in Portland, OR. The seller was Seattle-based developer Lake Union Partners, and a sales price was not disclosed.

The property is at 107 N. Cook St., in the Williams District of Portland. Berkshire Communities, the property management division of Berkshire Group, will manage the complex.

The transaction is the Boston-based investor’s second in Portland this year. Berkshire Group acquired the Lower Burnside Lofts in February.
