Berkery Noyes Comes to Plaza District from Downtown
Berkery, Noyes & Co. is leaving Downtown Manhattan behind, and moving its investment bank headquarters to 245 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan.
“Since its founding, Berkery Noyes has been a fixture of lower Manhattan, and the Wall Street environment was important to our growth and identity,” said James Berkery, managing partner of Berkery Noyes. “Now, an expanding staff and growing business requires additional space. The elegant and convenient Midtown location better meets our changing needs and rising profile.”
Berkery Noyes will occupy approximately 20,000 square feet of space at the 1967 building, formerly American Tobacco Company Building, American Brands Building and Bear Stearns Building. The 48-story, 1.7-million-square-foot structure was purchased earlier this year for a reported $2.2 billion.
