Berkadia Completes Virginia Beach MF Sale, Secures Construction Loan for Fla. MF
Berkadia arranged the $68.65 million sale of Maple Bay Townhomes, a multifamily property in Virginia Beach, VA (pictured). Jeff Coles, Alan Meetze and David Hudgins of Berkadia’s Mid-Atlantic Investment Sales Group completed the sale on behalf of the seller. The buyer was San Francisco-based Hamilton Zanze & Company.
Located at 356 South Chesire Court, the townhome community features one, two and three-bedroom floor plans with natural light, storage areas, dual-pane windows, spacious kitchens and modern appliances.
Berkadia also arranged the financing of Latitude at Hammock Bay Apartments, a garden-style multifamily property to be built in Freeport, FL. Kevin Kozminske originated the $31.68 million HUD 221(d)4 loan.
The 232-unit proposed property will be developed on a 13.94-acre site at 74 Great Bend Way in the Town Center of the Hammock Bay master- planned community. The 40-year fixed rate construction-to-permanent loan features an 85% loan-to-cost ratio.
