Berkadia Arranges Sale of Student Housing Near MSU

Berkadia has arranged the sale of The Rocks, a 376-bed student housing community located near the Michigan State University Campus in East Lansing, Michigan. The garden-style property was built in 2015 and is situated at 16970 Chandler Road.

Kevin Larimer and Brandon Buell of Berkadia represented the seller, Nuveen Real Estate, in the transaction. The property was 100 percent occupied at the time of the sale. The Rocks is a conveniently located apartment community near the Michigan State campus, which is home to more than 50,000 students.

The community offers a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Each apartment includes hardwood-style flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and private bathrooms.
