Berkadia Arranges Sale of 32-Unit Huntsville Apartment Property

Berkadia has brokered the sale of The Grove at Governors, a 32-unit boutique multifamily property located in Huntsville, AL. The sales price was not disclosed.

Built in the 1970’s, the property is within the Southeast Huntsville submarket. The property features a swimming pool and a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units with room for additional amenities. The property is located at 3009 Vanderbilt Drive.

David Wilson and Steve Nunnelley of Berkadia’s Birmingham office represented the Birmingham-based seller in the transaction. The buyer was a private development/investment group based in San Diego. In addition, Barry Bryan with Bank Independent provided the new mortgage for the acquisition.
