Berkadia Arranges $68M Sale of Atlanta MF Portfolio
Berkadia has arranged the $68 million sale of a two-property multifamily portfolio in Atlanta.
The portfolio consists of Commons at Briarwood Park, a 344-unit property located at 3510 Buford Highway NE and Magnolia Gardens, a 112-unit property located at 3460 Buford Highway NE. Amenities include swimming pools, laundry facilities and a playground. Both properties are located near Emory University, Oglethorpe University and employment hubs such as Northside Hospital Atlanta and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Paul Vetter, Andrew Mays, Judy MacManus and Matt White of Berkadia’s Atlanta office represented the seller, Washington-based Wilkinson Corp., in the transaction. The buyer was New York-based Saratoga Capital Partners.
