Berkadia Arranges $40M Sale of Savannah MF Property

Berkadia has arranged the $39.5 million sale of Legends at Chatham, a 255-unit multifamily property in Savannah.

Built in 2015, the property is located at 1426 Chatham Parkway. The community features one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans with large closets, energy efficient appliances and patios or balconies. Amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor area with grilling stations, a clubhouse and a playground.

Mark Boyce and Blake Coffey of Berkadia’s Carolinas office along with Andrew Mays and Paul Vetter of Berkadia’s Atlanta office represented the seller, Georgia-based United Residential Properties, in the transaction. The buyer was Memphis-based Fogelman Properties. The deal closed on November 23.
