Berkadia Adds Knight Frank’s Ed Owen to DC Office

Ed Owen, head of International Capital USA at Knight Frank, is set to join Berkadia’s DC Metro office to strengthen the strategic alliance between the two firms. In his role, Owen will manage inbound capital into Berkadia’s network and work with U.S.-based investors looking to deploy capital globally.

The alliance, formed in January 2023, has aimed to connect clients with active investors worldwide, providing diverse capital sources and opportunities. Owen brings over 16 years of global commercial real estate experience to Berkadia and will establish an International Capital desk.

“We’re thrilled to have Ed join us in the U.S. and sit in our DC Metro office. With Ed working stateside, he and Berkadia’s advisors will maximize returns for clients on major capital market transactions, both in the U.S. and overseas, as well as well as connect our clients with a wealth of new capital sources and unforeseen opportunities,” said Justin Wheeler, Berkadia CEO.
